Upper Marlboro, Maryland - October 30, 2006: Extra Innings, the national leader of indoor baseball and softball training centers, is taking its game to Upper Marlboro. Continuing its expansion nationwide and in the Mid-Atlantic, the Middleton, MA-based franchise company today announced the signing of its third franchise agreement in the state of Maryland. This also marks the first opening in the Washington DC area. Extra Innings Upper Marlboro, MD is expected to open early winter 2007. Extra Innings is also opening a location in Hagerstown mid-November and in Baltimore in 2007.
Extra Innings Training Centers are unique in the marketplace. Each facility, regardless of size, offers year-round practice facilities for ballplayers of all ages and ability levels, professional instruction and a nationally recognized Pro Shop that carries the top brands of baseball and softball equipment and apparel available today.
