Extra Innings Upper Marlboro, MD Set To Open This Weekend
Upper Marlboro, Maryland-February 13, 2007: Baseball and softball fanatics will get to swing into the new season this February as Extra Innings brings its unique game to Upper Marlboro. Extra Innings, the leader of indoor baseball and softball training centers, will debut its newest facility in Maryland, at a Grand Opening on February 17 from 10am-4pm at 401 Prince George’s Blvd in Upper Marlboro.
Visitors to Extra Innings that day will be able to try out the facility's state of the art batting cages and tunnels for free. In addition to enjoying some complimentary cuts at the plate, Extra Innings will be giving away free t-shirts to the first 50 kids who visit the facility, 10% off memberships, an opportunity to meet the Extra Innings instructors, free pitching and fielding instruction, giveaways and raffles.
Extra Innings Upper Marlboro is a state of the art, year round, training facility with 24-foot high ceilings and over 17,000 square feet. The impressive new center includes 11 indoor batting tunnels, eight multipurpose and three automated, a members only training area, fully stocked Pro Shop, and birthday/team party area.

The facility's tunnels will be available for rental on a half-hour and hourly basis. Extra Innings Upper Marlboro will also offer private and group baseball and softball instruction, camps and clinics featuring its staff of former and current professional players, college all-stars and area high school and college coaches. Hours of operation for Upper Marlboro will be 10am-9pm Monday through Friday and 9am-10pm on Saturdays and 10am-9pm on Sundays.
