Sterling Heights Marks 2nd MI Franchise for National Baseball and Softball Training CentersMiddleton, MA – August 6, 2007: Extra Innings, the national leader of indoor baseball and softball training centers, is taking its game to metro Detroit. Continuing its expansion in the Midwest and nationwide, the Middleton, MA-based franchise company announced the signing of a second franchise agreement in Michigan. The newest franchise is expected to open in Sterling Heights in early 2008. Extra Innings’ other Michigan location is also scheduled to open in 2008 in Muskegon.
Extra Innings Training Centers are unique in the marketplace. Each facility, regardless of size, offers year-round practice facilities for ballplayers of all ages and ability levels, professional instruction and a nationally recognized Pro Shop that carries the top brands of baseball and softball equipment and apparel available today.
The new facility in Sterling Heights will serve the baseball and softball players of the North Metro Detroit region.
