Extra Innings Scores Again in Maryland With A Grand Opening in Baltimore on September 29th

Guests can enjoy membership discounts and raffles & appearances by former professional ballplayers

Baltimore, Maryland- September 21, 2007: Baseball and softball fanatics will get to swing into fall this September as Extra Innings brings its unique game to Baltimore. Extra Innings, the leader of indoor baseball and softball training centers, will debut its newest Maryland facility in Baltimore, at a Grand Opening on September 29th from 10 AM-9 PM at 7904 Rossville Blvd.

Visitors to Extra Innings that day will be able to try out the facility’s state of the art batting cages and tunnels for free and enjoy complimentary pizza. Guests can also meet the exceptional Extra Innings staff including new General Manager and former Baltimore Oriole pitcher Rick Krivda. Other former Orioles in attendance will include Mike Bordick, Tim Bishop, Randy Milligan, Al Bumbry and Dave Johnson. In addition, there will be an appearance by the Oriole Bird, and Camden Yard’s famous Lemonade Shaking Guy will entertain visitors from 11:30 AM-1:30 PM. Guests will also be able to partake in raffles, giveaways and membership discounts.

Extra Innings Baltimore North is the premier indoor baseball and indoor softball training facility in the Harford/Baltimore County area, dedicated to fulfilling the needs of players of all ages and abilities. The state of the art, year round, indoor facility has over 18,000 square feet of training area, 8 multi-use indoor batting and pitching tunnels, 4 coin-operated batting cages, a fully stocked pro shop, member’s training area, weight training room and team meeting/private birthday rooms. Extra Innings also has a certified strength and conditioning instructor, who will be on hand at the facility full-time.

The facility’s tunnels will be available for rental on a half-hour and hourly basis. Extra Innings Baltimore North will also offer private and group baseball and softball instruction, camps and clinics featuring its staff of former and current professional players, college all-stars and area high school and college coaches.
